Filippo Loreti Launches Superman Watch Series

As one can imagine, there has been a tidal wave of merchandise associated with the release of WB’s new Superman movie. I’ve never been a big watch guy, although I do appreciate a nice time piece that’s part of a sharp ensemble, but a new Superman line by Filippo Loreti was released the day the movie came out that I thought was pretty cool.

This company is essentially a startup, sometimes crowdfunded line that makes affordable watches in an Italian-inspired style. They look nice and will not require you to take out a second mortgage to afford them, with each watch going for $299, and limited to 500 each, apparently.

Included in their release is a “Legacies of Krypton” design with three colors- Power Red, Justice Blue and Kryptonite Green- as well as a “House of El series with two pieces- Kal-El Black and Fortress of Solitude Ice Blue. The first three are more casual and the two divers are good for up to 20 ATM water resistant.

The nice folks at Filippo Loreti reached out and asked if I could showcase their line on my site, and I was happy to do so as I know some Superman collectors- and pop culture in general- really enjoy watches. I can’t speak to any details about shipping, quality or anything else at this point (although I will do a review of my own watch very soon), so this is not an official endorsement.

Nevertheless, there are some super (😉) cool designs and themes that I thought I’d show here a bit in case anyone is interested. You can also go to their site for more info at https://filippoloretiwatches.com.

More on this will be forthcoming!
